Welcome to planDisney, Tonya!
What better way to welcome the new year than a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth? What I wouldn't do right now to hop on
Pirates of the Caribbean and then enjoy a Mickey-shaped beignet and Mint Julip from the
Mint Julip Bar.
You'll be pleased to know that it's very easy to cancel an existing
theme park reservation and make a new one for a different day. Here are the steps you'll need to take:
- Visit the "My Theme Park Reservations" page on your Disneyland account.
- Click the "Cancel Reservation" link.
- Select the tickets you'd like to include in the cancellation.
- Confirm your choice.
When you're ready to book a new date and you can simply return to the "My Theme Park Reservations" page and book a new date. Even if you cancel your theme park reservation, your tickets will still be linked to your Disneyland account. As long as those tickets remain valid, you'll be able to make new park reservations.
If you purchase standard park tickets, they'll remain valid until all of the days are used up or until the expiration date (which you'll find on the confirmation email). If you purchase multi-day tickets, these expire 13 days after the first use on the expiration date (which you'll find on the confirmation email).
If your ticket expires before you're able to visit, Hakuna Matata! You'll be pleased to know that any wholly unused ticket can be applied towards buying a new ticket with an equal or higher cost after the expiration date. You'll just have to call
Guest Information & Ticket Sales at (714) 781-4636 and a friendly Cast Member will help you out.
I hope that's helpful, Tonya. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
