I’m purchasing park passes online as a gift but will not be with the recipients when they use them. What do they need to have for identification to redeem them?

    Hi Kathy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for stopping by. Let’s take a minute to appreciate what an AWESOME gift you’re giving! Your friends or family members are going to just love this generous and wonderful gift – not only will they have a magical time, but those special memories will last a lifetime, and will always be connected to your kindness. That’s just lovely.

Kathy, giving Walt Disney World theme park tickets as a gift is as easy as Bibbity Bobbity Boo! Disney provides the step-by-step instructions for gifting tickets on their website, so be sure to read those carefully. You’ll select the tickets you want, and then select the “This order will be a gift” option at checkout. Then, enter the gift recipient’s information; be sure you enter the name as it appears on their ID so they won’t have any trouble collecting the tickets at Guest Relations. It can take up to 24 hours for you to receive the confirmation and gift receipt via email, and you’ll need to provide that information to your gift recipient, as they’ll need it to pick up the tickets.

Once at Walt Disney World, your gift recipient will stop by the ticket window at any theme park entrance, and will need to show the gift receipt and a government-issued ID. From there, let the magic begin!

I hope your pals have the best time at Disney, Kathy. Now, more than ever, it’s an amazing time to visit Walt Disney World, with so much magic in the air for 2019!

    Have a zip-a-dee-doo-dah day,
    Robyn
