I'm about to purchase a pckg (room & ticket). WDW has Free Dining around the month that I'll be going. I noticed that persons make a room only reservation for 1 night and then continue the rest of their vacation with the package. Is this necesarry?

    Hi Latoya,

If your arrival date falls into the dates that FREE Dining is offered then there is absolutely no need to do this.

The only time that you will see Guests doing this is if they will be arriving at Walt Disney World a day or two before FREE Dining is being offered.

In this case, a room only reservation can be made for the first night(s) and then a Magic Your Way Vacation Package which includes FREE Dining will kick-in for the remainder of their stay.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
