If I'm on property for 6 days with a 4 day park hopper pass can I go to restaurant at a park on a rest day without it counting as one of my 4 days.

Hi Teresa! A big warm welcome to planDisney! I totally get how much you want to soak up every moment of your vacation, and we're here to make that happen, so I'm super happy to help you out today.

Every time you step through the turnstiles at a Disney World theme park, it counts as a theme park day, so one day of your tickets will be used. Disney doesn't have a way to know what you'll do inside since the parks are so huge and packed with fun: from attractions and character meet-and-greets to amazing shows and parades, plus all those fantastic dining spots—it's all part of the package. One of the best parts is that you can leave and re-enter the same park on the same day at no extra cost. So, if you feel like taking a dip in the hotel pool or escaping the midday sun for a bit, go for it!

And don't worry—there are tons of dining options all around the Resort where you won't need a theme park ticket, including some great spots at the Disney Resorts and Disney Springs.

At Disney Springs, you can't go wrong with Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', Enzo's Hideaway, and Pepe by José Andrés! Homecomin' serves up amazing comfort food—I could spend hours enjoying their appetizers and refreshing drinks! If you're in the mood for Italian, Enzo's has a wonderful 1920s speakeasy vibe and boasts the largest selection of rums and scotches in the area. And if you're looking for a quick bite, Pepe has scrumptious Spanish sandwiches in a cozy setting, perfect for a nice meal before heading back to your hotel.

When it comes to Disney Resorts, I absolutely adore 'Ohana for an unforgettable family-style Polynesian dinner—those noodles are a must-try! The breakfast and brunch at Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney's Yacht Club Resort is an insider secret, especially the Shrimp & Grits; trust me, everyone who tries it will thank you! And if you're hoping for a character meal, check out Topolino's Terrace at Disney's Riviera Resort—it's truly delightful!

I hope this helps with your planning, Teresa! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions. It's always such a joy to help wonderful friends like you!

    Cheers,
    Nilson
