Hi I'm in the process of planning a trip and one of my cousins is bringing her boyfriend along. He's 24 but had part of his right leg amputated when he was 14. Should I plan to use Das with him or wait until we get there?

Hi Thomas! What a wonderful trip you are planning with your cousin and her boyfriend. Disney will do all they can to help all of you have a magical time during your vacation.

Disney has implemented the DAS system to allow those who have difficulty waiting in lines to bypass those and return at a time so they will not need to wait. My suggestion is to pick your FastPasses for each of you and keep those and plan your day around those times. Once you arrive you can see how that is working for him. You can stop in at the Guest Relations when you arrive and discuss this new process. If you choose to use the DAS then you only need to stop once at the Guest Relations as it will be good for your entire stay. They will also let you know which attractions you can remain in a wheelchair if you are using one and which attractions have wheelchair entrances.

Enjoy the planning and get ready for a trip of a lifetime for all of you!
