I'm pretty sure I recently saw where some baby carriers cannot be worn on the rides. The child must ride in your lap. What is the guidelines? Planning a trip with a 18mo and 5mo and trying to make things as easy as possible!

    Hi Andrea!

Great question! My daughter's first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort was when she was 17 days old and I had her in the baby carrier practically the whole time! There are no general guidelines regarding baby carriers. However, you want to keep in mind that there are some attractions that  while they do not have any height or age restrictions, they may have a lap bar (such as Peter Pan's flight) which can affect your ability to carry the baby safely in the baby carrier. There are other attractions,  such as Spaceship Earth,  which would allow you to wear the baby carrier without any issues. You can find the guidelines or restrictions at each attraction or speak with the Cast Member at the entrance of each attraction for information specific to that attraction.

Did you know?: You can view the height restrictions for all attractions by visiting this page: Attractions. Be sure to filter by the appropriate height. Also, I recommend that you check out this awesome page on Planning for Pre-School and Little Ones. It is a wonderful resources on planning the perfect vacation for your little one.
