Hi Lori! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are in for such a rootin' tootin' musical dinnertime treat with the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I recently read a very popular, non-Disney dedicated, independent food publication that rated this as THE best fried chicken at all of Walt Disney World Resort. And side note - I'm currently singing the dessert song to myself right now, which you might not currently know, but you soon will.
Yes, you will absolutely be able to take
Disney's complimentary Resort Transportation back to whichever Disney Resort Hotel you call home. The transportation includes both buses and a water taxi should your resort hotel have that option available.
Keep in mind that
Disney's Bus Transportation only travels to and from resort hotels and the theme or water parks, plus Disney Springs. You will not be able to directly travel between your Disney Resort Hotel and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. However, you can easily get to Fort Wilderness Resort by taking a bus from any Disney theme park, water park, or Disney Springs. Then, after the show, you can take a bus from Fort Wilderness to Disney Springs where you can then stay and play for a bit, or jump on the bus that will take you home. Buses
to Disney Springs from all Disney Resort Hotels run until 1 a.m., and the last buses
from Disney Springs to resort hotels leave at 2 a.m.
I hope this helped with your travel plans, Lori, and save a piece of strawberry shortcake for me!
~Kristen
