Hi Amy,
How awesome you are planning a future Walt Disney World Resort vacation. A year away, however, you will soon notice how time flies!
Many Guests sometimes want the best of both worlds, or simply cannot decide between Disney Resort Hotels, and a Split Stay is the best way to do this. Recently we wanted to experience both Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort so we stayed half our time on each of them.
Each stay constitutes a separate reservation, and each one will have its own benefits, including any
Theme Park Tickets or
Disney Dining Plan entitlements. Since the more days you add to Theme Park Tickets, the lower the cost per day, a suggestion is to book a
Magic Your Way Vacation Package for the first leg, and a room only reservation for the second one. If you wish to include a Disney Dining Plan for both, you could actually book a ticketless vacation package with dining for your second leg. This can only be booked by calling a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936, or a travel agent. In addition, change the number of days for the first reservation to cover all of your stay.
One last tip: you can make
FastPass+ reservations up to 60 days in advance and dining reservations up to 180 days before your Check-In date. The easiest way is via the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Happy planning!
Ricardo.
