I'm planning on going to WDW in April. The calendar says the fireworks start in MK at 9pm and I want to know if there is enough time to see the fireworks and have a 9:35 PM reservation at CRT. Or how many minutes do i need before going?

    Hi Bonny,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  And hello to a fellow NJ Disney fan!

April is a great time to visit Walt Disney World, and I love that you have two great experiences planned — the Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular and a dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. Happily Ever After is such a mesmerizing show, and my wife and I have enjoyed dining at Cinderella's Royal Table.

The Happily Ever After performance should run about 18 minutes, and if you are viewing from an area near  Cinderella Castle, I would think you’ll have ample time to make it into your reservation inside the Castle. I have viewed the Happily Ever After fireworks from both in front of Cinderella Castle and from the area behind the Castle near Prince Charming Regal Carousel. I love both viewing areas and you might want to consider watching the fireworks in an area behind the Castle to make it easier to get to the entrance to Cinderella's Royal Table.

I'm sure you'll enjoy such a fun and fantastic evening!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
