I'm planning to take my 3 and 6yo to water park...I see that there are 2. Which one do u recommend?

    Hi Andrea,

When visiting the water parks with younger children, I'm partial to Blizzard Beach.  It offers two play areas for guests under 48 inches: Tike's Peak and Ski Patrol Training Camp.  The water raft ride Teamboat Springs is made for larger parties, so the entire family can ride together. And if your little ones are tired, you can ride in style to the attraction by taking the Chair Lift to the top (guests do need to be at least 32 inches).

I also really like Melt-Away Bay, the wave pool, because the waves are gentle compared to Typhoon Lagoon's wave pool where guests can actually take surfing lessons. Now that my children are older, Typhoon Lagoon is their favorite because of the intensity of the wave pool!

The other bonus feature of Blizzard Beach is that right outside its entrance is Winter Summerland miniature golf, a family favorite of ours.

And one more thought, if your family has a bit of a sweet tooth, you may want to treat them to some miniature donuts that are made fresh daily in one of the food booths.  This is a must-do with my children every trip.

Please let us know if you have any more questions and thank you for visiting the 2012 Walt Disney World Moms Panel.
