Hi Ryan, welcome to planDisney!
My Disney vacations often include our two kids and my in-laws and we have made so many magical memories that will be cherished for years to come.
When it comes to
purchasing theme park tickets, you can purchase those how you'd like, whether that means purchasing all six at once, or each household buying their own tickets. The best way to have everyone riding attractions together is to have one person purchase the Lightning Lanes for all six guests.
When purchasing
Lightning Lanes, everyone should be connected through the Family & Friends List on the My Disney Experience app, and tickets need to be assigned to each guest. If you are staying at a Disney Resort, you can
purchase Lightning Lane passes seven days before your arrival, for up to 14 days. If you are not staying at a Disney Resort, you can buy your Lightning Lane passes three days before your park visit.
During your Lightning Lane purchase, you’ll be asked the date and park you are visiting. Then you’ll select Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass. You can purchase Multi Passes and Single Passes in the same transaction. After you choose your Lightning Lane type, you can select who you are buying passes for. You will only be able to choose guests who have valid admission and are eligible to purchase. Next, you’ll select your experiences and return times, then complete the checkout. You can only buy one day at a time, but you’ll see the option to plan another day if eligible.
I hope this helped, Ryan! With Multi Pass, you’ll receive digital downloads of any PhotoPass photos taken at the attractions you ride. Some of my favorite attraction photos with my kids are from
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and
Frozen Ever After! If you have any more questions, please visit us again at
