Garfield from NY Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm planning on visiting Disney world June 26-30th with my family of six. 2 adults and 4 kids ages 8-13. I would like to visit Magic Kingdom 2 days and the other parks one day. how to purchase the tickets for 5 days.

    Dear Garfield,

Thanks for contacting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Happy to help you out. It sounds like you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort at such a beautiful time of year - you're sure to have a magical time!

One of the aspects of the ticketing system for Walt Disney World Resort that I love the most is the ability to buy Theme Park tickets that can be used at any of the four Disney Parks in Florida (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, DIsney's Animal Kingdom, and DIsney's Hollywood Studios). When you buy your 5-day ticket, you don't have to decide at that time which Disney Park you will visit on which day, until you're ready to do so.

Another ticket option to consider that gives even greater flexibility is the Park Hopper option, which allows you to visit more than one park per day

A couple of important dates to keep in mind are the 180-day mark , when you can make (count back 180 days from the first date of your reservation) Advanced Dining Reservations, and the 60-day mark, when you can make your FastPass+ reservations. Once you start to plan those, your reservations will help you to determine which park you plan to visit on which day.

    Happy planning!
