Hi, Tannia!
I’m excited to hear that you’re planning a visit to the
Disneyland Resort during
Halloween Time. There is so much spooktacular fun in the theme parks that time of year, like fall-inspired food, decor, attractions and entertainment!
Mickey’s Halloween Party, a separate ticketed event offered on select nights, is a must-do for my family when we visit the theme park in September or October. This is the only time you can see the Halloween Screams fireworks and the Frightfully Fun Parade, which aren’t offered during regular operating hours at Disneyland Park. Plus, all party attendees are allowed to wear costumes (even adults!) and there is trick-or-treating fun for everyone available throughout the park. The first Mickey’s Halloween Party of the year is on September 19 and it will be offered on several nights through October 31, 2018.
Party tickets are valid for admission to Mickey’s Halloween Party and to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park beginning three hours prior to the start of each party. Disneyland Park closes early to the public to host the event (typically at 6:00 or 7:00 p.m.), at which time Guests who don’t have party tickets must leave the park. It’s only necessary to purchase both a regular admission ticket and a party ticket if you wish to explore the theme parks for the entire day plus attend Mickey’s Halloween Party.
I hope this information helps you plan, Tannia, and that you enjoy many boo-to-you thrills at the Happiest Place on Earth this fall! Please feel free to write back with more questions as your vacation approaches.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
