Hi!! I'm planning to visit WDW on September to celebrate my Bday. I would like to know good restaurants to dinning in Epcot. At this moment i made a reservation in the Italy restaurant, but I would like to know more information from others restaurant. Tks

    Hi Sara,

Let me begin by wishing you an early birthday on behalf of all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Well, you have come to the right place. I absolutely love dining in Walt Disney World. Sometimes, I get more giddy about trying a new restaurant or revisiting a favorite one more than visiting some of the attractions! Here are some of my favorites:
    • Teppan Edo in Japan is delicious hibachi style food. Guests are seated at the hot grills while the chefs cook the meal right of in front of you. The cast members are always extremely friendly here and willing to make anyone's meal special, especially a birthday!
    • La Hacienda de San Angel in Mexico has an awesome view of the World Showcase Lagoon and can be a fun place to view Illuminations if you are able to get a reservation timed just right and are sitting on the patio section. I will say that the portions are a bit smaller here despite the cost. However, I have been thoroughly delighted by both meals I have had there.
    • Le Cellier in Canada could be difficult to get a last minute reservation as it is one of the most sought after dining locations. But, if you are able to get one, you will not be disappointed. Their cheddar beer soup is one of my all-time favorite dishes in all of Walt Disney World.
    • Biergarten in Germany is a bountiful buffet of German favorites such as Schnitzel and Brats and Sauerkraut. There is also lively entertainment during your meal by Bavarian musicians. They will recognize guests celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, too!
I hope this will offer you some choices to consider for celebrating your special day. Because of the popularity of several of these, I would highly recommend calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) to check availability since many of them will book up as early as 180 days in advance.

    Happy Birthday, Sara!
