Hi Chris! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
I had a chance to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort when nighttime firework shows had not returned yet. I enjoyed our days in the parks and as always, I had an amazing time. But I missed that feeling of knowing that the day was building toward this grand finale in the evening. With the addition of the two new nighttime spectaculars to the
Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT, we now have two amazing shows to close out our days at the parks.
When the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration kicked off in October,
Disney Enchantment and
Harmonious made their debuts. Since the celebration is set to continue into the beginning of 2023, I expect each of these shows at the bare minimum to run for at least that length of time. For your trip in November, I am fairly certain that we will not see any changes to either show. Disney Imagineers put a lot of hard work into designing and building the barges for Harmonious to project as incredible as it does, so I have a feeling this show is going to be around for years to come.
Since you will be arriving during the holiday season, I would check to see if Disney brings back either a holiday party or after-hours event at any of the parks. In years past, the Magic Kingdom has hosted a Christmas-themed holiday party, and on these nights, the standard nighttime show did not display and a holiday-themed firework show took its place. If this is the case, I would suggest checking the park calendar and planning your days around these events. Again, it has been a few years since this has happened, but with the return of many experiences, it will be something to consider.
Chris, I hope your friends enjoy Disney Enchantment and Harmonious as much as you did! I loved each of these shows for many reasons but mostly for the story that each one told!
We'll see you in the parks soon!
Greg
