Hi, Siyeon! Welcome to planDisney.
Walt Disney World is all about makin' memories for every Guest, but it's also a big place with a lot of
park rules designed to keep everyone safe and comfortable. If you’re planning to bring along something extra to make your day easier, it's always a good idea to check the guidelines first.
When it comes to accordion-style folding chairs, Disney doesn't allow them inside the parks. The rules are in place to make sure pathways stay clear and everyone can move safely, especially in crowded areas for shows, like
Happily Ever After, and parades, like the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. There are a few exceptions for medical needs, so if you require a portable seat for accessibility reasons, Guest Relations at the park entrance can help you find the right accommodations.
Even without a folding chair, there are plenty of ways to stay comfortable whilst enjoying shows. There are designated viewing areas and benches to look out for. Also, simply planning your arrival at shows nice and early to grab a good spot will give you a great view and enable you to get as comfortable as possible.
There are also plenty of shows that have seating, like
Fantasmic!, and indoor shows, like
Festival of the Lion King and
Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond!I hope that's clarifying, Siyeon. Thanks for visiting planDisney.
