Hi Tenessa!
Welcome to planDisney! In my opinion, no trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is complete without a visit to
Magic Kingdom Park. My heart still fills with joy each time I step onto Main Street, U.S.A. and see Cinderella Castle. Whether you enjoy the thrills of
TRON Lightcycle/Run or the nostalgia of flying high with
Dumbo the Flying Elephant, there is truly something for both the young and the young at heart to enjoy!
Tenessa, Walt Disney World Resort has a
variety of ticket options to fit whatever vacation plans you have. The standard one-day ticket to Magic Kingdom Park does not include access to Disney's water parks. However, you could get a one-day Park Hopper Plus ticket which would allow you to visit all four theme parks plus enjoy one visit to a water park. If you have more days to spend in the parks, you can explore multi-day tickets with either the Water Park and Sports Option or the Park Hopper Plus option.
Currently,
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is scheduled to be open for guests throughout the month of May. Typhoon Lagoon is filled with water rides, slides, and attractions that will allow you to splash and relax the day away! After a few long park days, I like to spend some time floating on
Castaway Creek, but I have to ride
Crush 'n' Gusher at least once each visit! The
Surf Pool is another popular spot for both kids and adults. In fact, the waves are so good here that surfers can even
access the surf pool before or after park hours to ride some waves!
Tenessa, I hope this helps you plan for a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort next month! If you have any other vacation planning questions, just keep swimming back here to planDisney again!
See ya real soon!
