Hi Amanda,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m thrilled to hear that you’re planning your family’s first visit to Walt Disney World Resort and I’m happy to help out a fellow Canadian!
Even if you’re only planning to visit Magic Kingdom Park for a single day, I highly recommend purchasing your
Theme Park Tickets online. That way, you can make your party’s three
FastPass+ selections (automatically included with your tickets!) up to 30 days before your visit.
As for whether
Memory Maker is worth it for one day, I’d say it absolutely is! I didn’t purchase it for my little guy’s first visit to Walt Disney World Resort when he was an infant, and I regret it to this day. The option to purchase the Memory Maker One Day will be available either at a Ticket Window (before you enter the Theme Park), at Box Office Gifts (a store that is on your right when you enter the Park) or even through the My Disney Experience app once you have a
Disney PhotoPass picture linked to your account. For that option, just take a picture, scan your Admission Card and then you can purchase your day’s worth of pictures.
The pictures will be available in your account for up to 45 days after the day that they were first taken. As of right now, Memory Maker One Day costs $69, but that price is subject to change at any time.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions about planning the perfect Disney Day. We’re here to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
