Hiya, Lileana! Welcome back to planDisney!
Your Walt Disney World adventure is right around the corner. Woo hoo! That’s so exciting! And I love your ambitious park-hopping plan. I visited all 4 theme parks in a single day when I was a much younger man, and I’m not sure I could pull it off now. So cheers to you!
Complimentary transportation is available between all Walt Disney World theme parks, but the quickest options may vary depending on the day you're visiting. Be sure to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app, which provides step-by-step directions to most locations around Walt Disney World, as well as informs you of all available transportation options based on your starting and ending points.
A couple of notes before we jump in. All of these suggestions are based on information I'm seeing at the time I'm writing this, and may differ from what you see in a few days. Also, your quickest option will usually be booking a
Minnie Van through Lyft, but I'm going to focus on the complimentary options.
OK! Here we go!
- The
complimentary bus service is your only option for getting from Animal Kingdom to the Magic Kingdom. I noticed a sign at the Animal Kingdom bus stop on my last visit that said buses to other parks don’t start running until 10 AM, so take a bus to the Contemporary Resort and then walk to the Magic Kingdom if you're park hopping before that.
- To get from the Magic Kingdom to EPCOT, you’ll want to take the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center. From there, you can board a different monorail that goes directly to EPCOT.
- Last stop! Hollywood Studios! This one is tough because your fastest option will definitely depend on the time of day. Looking at the My Disney Experience app right now, it says that walking from the International Gateway at EPCOT to the entrance of Hollywood Studios is 26 minutes, the water taxi (which also leaves from the International Gateway) is 47 minutes, and the
Skyliner is 53 minutes. You’ll have to see for yourself when you’re ready to go to Hollywood Studios, but the important thing to remember is that you have multiple transportation options and you’ll need to leave EPCOT through the International Gateway, not the front of the park.
Whew! I’m worn out just thinking about all that park hopping. I hope this information is helpful, Lileana, and that you have an amazing day exploring Walt Disney World. Don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!
Magical travels!
