Hi, I'm planning to visit DW this summer with my 5 year old son. I"m only doing 2 park days and 1 water park. I'm definitely doing Magic KIngdom but not sure if the second day should be spent at Hollywood Studios or ANimal Kingdom. Suggestions??

    Hi Sabrina!

Congratulations on your family's visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

I believe there are more attractions for the little ones at Magic Kingdom than any other Disney Theme Park, so I would recommend spending at least two days there. If you do decide to spend your second day at another Disney Theme Park, I would suggest going to Disney's Hollywood Studios. This theme park is a lot more compact than Disney's Animal Kingdom, and therefore easier to tour. However, if your son is an animal lover, then opt to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom instead.

Here's a sample touring plan for the day(s) you'll be visiting Magic Kingdom. Feel free to modify it according to your particular needs. Should you opt to visit one of the other major Disney Theme Parks one day and Magic Kingdom another day, I suggest going to the other Disney Theme Park first. Once your son walks down Main Street U.S.A. and sees Cinderella's Castle in Magic Kingdom, it will be hard to convince him not to go back there again. Be sure to book dining by calling (407) WDW-DINE or reserve online. For my top ten tips to make your vacation a more magical experience read HERE.

Enjoy a most memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
