Hello I’m planning a visit to Disney with my 2 year old son in June ! At that point in time I will be 7 months pregnant are there ride restrictions to expecting mothers ?

    Hello, Natalie!

I’m so excited to hEAR that you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort very soon! I’m sure your little Mouseketeer is just as excited! My 2-year old can’t even watch a Disney commercial without shouting that she wants to “Go to Disney”! I joke that it’s probably because she went twice when I was pregnant with her.

When I was pregnant and visited the parks, I did first get an “okay” from my doctor before traveling. I recommend checking with yours as well! I found that I rode most attractions that did not have a height restriction, as well as those that I felt comfortable with. I was already struggling with nausea so I did not need to take a spin on the Mad Tea Party! There is also a list of attractions not recommended for expectant mothers, be sure to check that out before making your FastPass+ reservations.

While you are physically in the parks you can always check with the Cast Member at the front of the attraction, as well as read the advisory at the entrance before riding. If you need a spot to rest my fellow panelist, Sarah, recommends the Baby Care Centers. She has also visited the parks while pregnant and found that the Baby Care Centers were the perfect place to relax, take a break, and cool down in!

I hope that this helped Natalie! Congratulations and please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any more questions as you continue to plan your Magical vacation!
