Hello! I'm planning a visit to Disney for my son's birthday in December. As a FL resident, if I want to convert our single day tickets to Pixie Passes while at the park that day, will I still have the monthly payment option?

Hey Howdy Hey Kristen and welcome to planDisney!

WOW, sounds like a lot of great things are planned for December! Not only will you be celebrating your son's birthday in the Most Magical Place on Earth, but also becoming annual pass holders as well! I am super excited for you all to have these experiences as I am sure you are in for an epic Magical experience. Thank you so much for your questions regarding upgrading your single-day tickets, let's jump into some details.

Regarding the process of upgrading your single-day ticket to the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, you are more than able to do so. You can get this transaction done when you are onsite with any Cast Member at Guest Services before you enter the park. As per the wording on the Disney site when moving towards the monthly payment program, you can do so but will require a downpayment of $205 per pass to qualify for the monthly payment program. The cost of your ticket will be applied to your pass but may not be the full $205 needed to qualify for the monthly payment. Just be aware you would have to cover the difference between the cost of your ticket and the down payment amount to qualify for the monthly program. Make sure to bring your appropriate proof of Florida residency to qualify for this pass.

There are so many perks to becoming an annual passholder and now is a great time to consider the transition to becoming one! One of the many perks is the discounts you get across Walt Disney World Resort. There is a special Annual Passholder Discount page that highlights all of the discounts you may receive across the resort. Did you know there is even a Facebook group for Disney World Passholders? After you become Passholders, join this group to keep up to date with all things Disney and see how some other fellow Passholders are using their benefits for their trips!

Best of luck as you continue to plan for your December celebration. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out and let us know, we would be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
