I'm planning a visit to Disney land on August 4th. I was just about to reserve the tickets I have noticed the following statement Ticket is not valid on the following dates: ..... August 4-6 so I'm not sure if I can buy the tickets and use them?

    Hello there Alex,

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! I'm thrilled to hear you have a trip planned to the Happiest Place on Earth later this year!

You ask a great question and it makes it a bit more complex since I can't see the specific details of your trip, but I spoke with a Cast Member and we put together a couple of ideas to try below in hopes that at least one of them would resolve your issue. If none of these work, then you'll want to reach out to a Cast Member at the Tickets line (+1-714-781-4636) to discuss the specifics further.

The first thing I'm wondering, based on your question, is if the theme park tickets that you have might not be at the correct tier for the dates you're looking at (August 4-6). Essentially, the Disneyland Resort uses tiered pricing for theme park tickets based on the park attendance for given dates. The dates that you're looking at would need a Tier 5 or 6 to be able to book reservations on those dates, but Tier 1-4 tickets are blocked out. This should only apply to single-day tickets, though, so I would give the Tickets line a call that I referenced above to see if you could upgrade your tickets.

It's also possible that you were looking to purchase a special offer or promotional tickets that are only valid on specific dates. If that is the case then you can visit the Disneyland website and follow the prompts on the homepage to book standard multi-day theme park tickets instead and this should resolve the issue.

Finally, I have noticed in answering questions from other international Guests that there are certain stipulations depending on the country for how Guests need to purchase their theme park tickets. It's possible that could be our issue here and I'm just not aware of the country-specific stipulations. If so, and if the two tips above don't resolve the issue, then your best bet would be to reach out to the Cast Member as I mentioned above. They should absolutely be able to help you diagnose exactly what's going on and how to get tickets for your trip.

Sorry I couldn't be more specifically helpful, Alex, but again thank you so much for your question! I hope you have a fantastic time visiting the Disneyland Resort.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
