I'm planning to visit Disney 3/2011 w my 2.5 girl, I want to stay in a disney resort but would like to know which one would be the best for her to enjoy? I will also be 5 months pregnant by then, so I would like to be close by to Magic Kingdom. Thanks.

    Hello Maria,

Congratulations! Do you know if you'll be having a Peter Pan to join your Tinker Bell?

As you let your dreams take flight this vacation, I remember vividly how exhausting chasing an active toddler can be. So I would recommend staying at the Polynesian Resort.

The Polynesian has its own Monorail stop to whisk you away easily to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, which is also ideal for quick trips back to the resort for midday breaks.

The resort itself is great for kids. I'm sure your daughter will walk into the Great Ceremonial House and be in awe. I know I always am. There are koi ponds, tiki torches, and a cool volcano at the hotel pool. I know with a little one we didn't like to close the parks, so we would head back to our hotel earlier in the evenings. At the Polynesian, you can hang at the beach at night and catch a glimpse of the Electrical Water Pageant!

Hope this helps. Wishing you faith, love, and Pixie Dust this trip!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
