Happy Holidays, Martha and welcome to planDisney!
With festive decorations,
specialty menu items and more, visiting the Walt Disney World in December certainly adds an extra sprinkling of pixie dust, but also requires extra planning so I'm happy you stopped by.
Martha, all guests are required to hold a (complimentary) theme park reservation in addition to their valid theme park ticket to gain park entry. As there are currently days that are "sold out" to anyone who doesn't already have a reservation, we recommend checking the availability calendar prior to purchasing tickets. You can view availability
HERE and make sure you select the correct category: theme park tickets, select resort hotels (if you are staying on-site at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel) or annual passes.
Martha, once you view the dates that you're hoping to visit, if you'd still like to purchase park tickets, once you do so, you'll want to
immediately link the tickets to your
My Disney Experience account and then make your
Disney Park Pass reservations. I highly recommend doing this all at one sitting. If you don't already have a My Disney Experience account, I would begin by creating this first.
I hope this helps as you're planning for your holiday visit. Prior to your trip, make sure to download (or update) the
My Disney Experience Mobile App and read all about the newest offering:
Disney Genie. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney where we are happier than Scrooge McDuck counting his coins when we can help guests create a Magical vacation.
