I’m planning to visit CA Disneyland Park this October (daytime, not OBB). For guests 14+, is a Big Hero 6 costume allowed? If not, would it be ok to wear the outfit without a wig, since my hair color differs from the character?

Greetings, Huiyan. Thank you for bringing us your important question! Your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is almost here, so let's get to it!

Unfortunately, Guests ages 14 and older are not allowed to wear costumes unless they are attending one of the special evening events, like Oogie Boogie Bash. While some creative Guests "Disney Bound" by wearing clothing that reminds them of their favorite characters, but not dressing in full costume, I do recommend having a second option to change into. The final say on whether a costume is allowed is the Cast Members at the security checkpoints. Huiyan, I would definitely take a look at the Dressing for Special Events policy before your visit.

I hope you can enjoy some of the Halloween Decor throughout the resort during your visit. The Main Street Pumpkin Festival is a must-see, and don't forget to check out ride overlays in both parks. If character meet and greets are on your list, you can use the map function in the Disneyland Mobile App to find the meeting times for your favorite Disney pals!

I hope this information helps, Huiyan. If you have any other questions, please let us know. We would love to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
