Hello, Janeth! And welcome to planDisney! You'll be at
Walt Disney World Resort very soon, so let's talk about planning! It's one of my favorite parts of the trip!
There are lots of ways to do a Disney vacation, and the good news is that you can't go wrong. While you can never do everything that Walt Disney World has to offer, six days is plenty of time to do all you want to accomplish. If I were traveling with you, this is how I'd do it:
Check-in day: Since you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, I would use the first day to visit one of
Disney's Water Parks and take advantage of
free admission on your check-in day.
Day 1: Most people like to start at
Magic Kingdom Park. It is the original, and it's pretty cool to walk down Main Street. U.S.A. and see Cinderella Castle. This park offers so many attractions, but I love
TRON Lightcycle Run and
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Pirates of the Caribbean are classics that should not be missed!
Day 2:
EPCOT would be next. This is a large theme park with so much to see, do, and eat! The most popular attraction is
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, but don't skip Test Track. Soarin' Across America and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure are fun for the whole family.
Day 3:
Disney's Hollywood Studios is probably my favorite theme park. While Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror are big thrills, my favorite attractions are
Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania, and Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. Definitely spend some time in Galaxy's Edge. Rise of the Resistance is one of the best attractions in the world!
Day 4: Sleep in. You are going to be exhausted! Head over to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park around lunchtime.
Kilimanjaro Safaris is the must-do here, and if it's a hot day, try Kali River Rapids where you will very likely get wet!
Days 5 & 6: Revisit your favorite parks, ride the attractions you may have missed or want to experience again, and do some souvenir shopping.
Adjust this based on your preferences. If it's going to rain or be exceptionally hot, I like to go to Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. They are less spread out than the other two parks. If you have the park hopper option on your tickets, you can visit more than one park each day.
