Hi Rene,
Thanks for visiting planDisney! A two-week vacation sounds like a great way to spend some magical time with your mom.
When you purchase your Disney Resort hotel reservation and theme park ticket package, you will choose the length of tickets you need. You can certainly choose tickets for the number of days you plan on visiting the theme parks. For example, if you choose to include 8-Day tickets in your vacation package, your tickets will be valid for any 8 days from the date of check-in to the date of check-out. If you were to purchase 8-day tickets without the package,
your ticket will expire 12 days after the selected start date. So, in this case, you would get a few extra days before your tickets expire when purchased through a vacation package.
Don’t forget that you can
add a dining plan to vacation packages that include a Disney Resort hotel reservation with arrivals on or after January 9, 2024. There are two options to choose from so you can select the plan that fits your vacation plans best. With the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan each person would get two Quick-Service meals and 1 Snack or Nonalcoholic beverage per night of stay and a Resort-Refillable drink mug. The second option is the Disney Dining Plan which gives each person one Quick-Service meal, one Table-Service meal, and one Snack or Nonalcoholic drink per night of stay, as well as a Resort-Refillable Drink Mug.
I hope this helped clarify your options, Rene. Enjoy making magical memories with your mom! If you have any more questions,
come back and see me at planDisney!
