Hello! I'm planning a vacation for May, and will be staying at a vacation home instead of inside the park. However I'm still interested in purchasing the DDP. Can we still purchased the DDP even if we're not staying inside the park? Thank you!

    Hi, Stephanie!

The Disney Dining Plan is exclusively for Disney Resort guests.  While you will not be able to purchase the plan, you can still enjoy all the great dining options when visiting.  Make sure you make your Dining Reservations ahead of time. Reservations can booked up to 180 days in advance.

When booking your dining, do not forget to check out restaurants that are not actually in the parks but in the beautiful resorts:  Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at the Beach Club, Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, or Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club are all great choices. These locations are within walking distance of either Magic Kingdom or Epcot, so they are convenient to get to.

Now the hard part - deciding where to dine during your magical vacation! Good luck choosing your dining locations.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
