I'm planning a vacation 6/2-6/10 2021 and was hoping to take my 2 children to Disneyland 6/8/21 for a day. we are fully vaccinated with Pfizer vaccine but kids are under 10 so unable to be vaccinated. Do you think the park will be open for us to come?

    Hi Erin! Welcome to planDisney!

It is very exciting just to be talking about visits to the Disneyland Resort again, isn't it? I rejoiced when they announced that the Happiest Place on Earth was opening, then again when they announced that they would reopen to out-of-state Guests. It is a great time to be a Disney fan!

There are a couple of dates I see in your question with a visit of June 8, 2021, then you marked your arrival date as July 8, 2021, so I'll address both dates, just in case! First, only Guests that are California residents can visit until June 15, 2021. Since it looks like you will be visiting from out of state, you will not be able to plan a day at the theme parks on June 8, 2021. If July is actually your date, then you can explore options to visit! Check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before purchasing tickets, just to make sure the date you want is still available for your family. Then, once you have your tickets, make a theme park reservation for your visit right away! They fill up quickly.

As for vaccinations, the Disneyland Resort does not require them before entering, they are just highly encouraged. The exact wording from the website states, "The State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the theme parks."

I hope this helps, Erin! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
