Hello, I’m planning a vacation with extended family. For some it will be 1st time. I would like everyone to flag their top attraction/ dining picks. Is there an ability to bookmark favorites? And share faves with the group? Would help with reservations.

Hi there Audrey, welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question, I'm thrilled to help! Looks like you're gearing up for a trip to Walt Disney World Resort. I'm sure you are counting down the days until you're at the Most Magical Place On Earth!

Having everyone in your party identify their top attractions and dining is an excellent idea! This will allow you to maximize your time in the parks and restaurants. Disney Genie Service helps you get the most out of your time with a personalized itinerary inspired by your party’s top interests, real-time updates, and recommendations to help guests plan their day more efficiently and enjoy more attractions, entertainment, and dining options.

Guests can input their preferences, such as favorite attractions, dining experiences, and entertainment. Disney Genie then creates a tailored itinerary suited to individual interests. The service continually updates throughout the day, adjusting recommendations based on changing conditions like wait times and show schedules.  Guests can modify their plans on-the-go, and the service will adapt accordingly to provide updated suggestions.

To share plans with everyone in your party, I would suggest that your family members create their own My Disney Experience account, if they haven't already, then adding them to your Friends & Family list. I would next suggest connecting your account to everyone in your party on their own devices. This will allow you to manage all your plans, including all reservations, from your own account while still being able to share reservation plans and tickets with everyone in your party.

I find the easiest way to connect to the accounts of friends and family members is by using your Linking Code. To find your Linking Code, tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the bottom right of the My Disney Experience app. Scroll to the bottom of the screen then under Disney Account, tap “Profile.” Next, tap “Show My Linking Code.” The app will then prompt you with a warning explaining what the linking code is. Once someone scans your Linking Code, you’ll be added to their Friends & Family list. Next tap “Show My Linking Code.” The app will then create a unique linking code. There’s a QR version as well as a manual code that your friends and family can type in.

If anyone in your party wants to scan a linking code to connect to you (or you want to scan theirs) - tap on the three horizontal lines to the bottom right of the My Disney Experience app. Select “Profile” and then “Friends & Family List.” You’ll then scroll down to where it says “Add a Guest.” Follow the prompts to Scan their Linking Code. You’ll scan their linking code when they have it up on their phone, or you can manually enter the code. That's it!

Audrey, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
