I'm planning a vacation early next year staying at OKW. Both grandmas are joining us in a 2 bdrm unit. My husband is only coming for a few days. Can we still get the dining plan if he is not staying the entire time? How will that work? Thanks!!!

    Hi Jordana,

The Disney Dining Plan needs to be purchased by every guest in the room if you opt to get it. In addition, you must get it for the duration of the stay and it is based on the number of nights that you are staying. Since your husband isn't staying the entire time, you wouldn't want to pay for the Disney Dining Plan. Essentially, you would be required to pay for his food the entire length of time that you are there (even though he wouldn't be there).  He obviously wouldn't be able to use all of those entitlements so it would be a waste of money. Now, in theory, the meal credits are all pooled together on the room and you could use your husbands credits on the nights that he isn't there if you wanted to. You'd be booking extra meals to use them up, but since the Plan is over $40 a day per adult, I really don't think you want to waste money on credits that likely wouldn't be getting used up.

Hope this helps. If you need further clarification, please let me know.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,
