I'm planning a vacation for DisneyWorld for the summer of 2015. I'm hoping to be there during one of the Star Wars weekends. I don't really care about the special guest lineup. When will they release dates for 2015 Star Wars Weekends?

    Hello Chandra,

Eager, you are, to find out when the dates of next year's Star Wars Weekends will be. As a fellow Star Wars fan, I can feel your excitement! As we all know, Walt Disney World loves to surprise us with the dates of special events that they plan for their guests. That doesn't mean we can't speculate when events will be held within the parks. This past year, the dates for the 2014 Star Wars Weekends were announced on the Disney Parks Blog on December 20th. We can create our own New Hope (heh...get it?) and predict that we'll find out the 2015 dates around mid-December to late December. If you are looking to make your Walt Disney World vacation reservations now, try to pick dates as close to the middle and end of May as possible. Also, keep in mind that you can always speak to a cast member once dates are announced, and have them help you re-schedule your vacation to a one of the Star Wars Weekends dates.

I hope this answers your question, Chandra. If you have any more questions while planning your vacation, feel free to ask us at any time. We're always here to help.

    Have an intergalactic Disney day!
