    I'm planning our vacation over the Christmas Holidays, I was wondering if you can take food into the parks? Also, if I'm not a guest at the resort, can you book dinner shows? I'm interested in the Hoop De Doo. Thanks

    Hi Vicki!

    Absolutely!  You can bring food and non-alcoholic beverages into the parks.  However, you can't bring any glass containers and you can't bring in a big cooler!  But you'll have no problems with food and drinks in a backpack!  It's a good way to save some money.

    You can definitely make reservations at any Walt Disney World Resort restaurant, including dinner shows.  You do not have to stay in a Disney owned and operated hotel.  You can reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance.  Late December is a very popular time to visit Walt Disney World, so you will want to make reservations ASAP.  Many guests made dining reservations and dinner show reservations for late December a couple of months ago.
