I'm planning on upgrading to an AP w/ a recently purchased Park Hopper. Will I receive credit for my PH based on the new ticket system or on price of the ticket when I purchased it? Hope that makes sense! Thanks!

Hi Shannon! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Only three more days until your visit and I know you must be thrilled! The prospect of becoming an Annual Passholder soon is enough to get excited about all by itself! I joined the Annual Passholder "family" last year and haven't regretted it at all. As a matter of fact, it has paid for itself by not only saving money on tickets, but also through all of the amazing discounts offered. I know you will love it, too!

I spoke with a Cast Member to verify that the amount you paid for your Walt Disney World Park Hopper ticket is the amount that will be applied to your Annual Pass purchase. In other words, the amount applied towards the upgrade is based on the cost at the time you purchased it, not current prices. This should help you calculate the approximate amount your upgrade with cost you. When you arrive for your vacation and upgrade to an Annual Pass, the Cast Member assisting you will be able to tell you the exact amount you will owe.

Enjoy your vacation, Shannon, and an early "congrats" on being an Annual Passholder! Let us know if you have any other questions.
