Hi, I’m planning a two-week visit in August and would like park tickets without purchasing an annual pass. Are there longer-duration or seasonal ticket options available? Thank you!

    Hi Thierry!

Welcome to planDisney!  A two-week visit to Walt Disney World Resort?  How exciting!  There is so much to see and do throughout Walt Disney World, and two weeks will give you plenty of time to immerse yourself in the magic that awaits around every corner!

Currently, the longest ticket option available (outside of an Annual Pass) to Guests visiting from the United States and Canada is a 10-day ticket, Thierry.  There are some additional benefits and savings that Annual Passholders enjoy when visiting Walt Disney World, but I understand those may not justify the price difference if you're not planning another trip within the year your Annual Pass is active.  Besides an Annual Pass, let's look at options for your two-week visit this summer.

One option you can consider is purchasing a second, shorter ticket for the remainder of your trip, which will give you access to the theme parks each day of your vacation.  However, I often like to build in at least one or two days of my trip to enjoy my resort and the areas outside the theme parks, like Disney Springs and Disney's BoardWalk.  When you think about what else you want to do during your visit, you may find the 10-day ticket gives you flexibility to experience both the parks and other activities in Walt Disney World Resort.  A 10-day ticket can be used over 14 days from your selected start date, so you can space out your "rest days" during your vacation.

You could also consider adding the Park Hopper Plus option to your tickets.  This upgrade not only allows you to bounce between theme parks for 10 days, but will give you 10 "plus" visits to attractions like the Disney water parks and miniature golf.  This will help you fill those other days with plenty of fun and Disney magic!

Don't forget that you'll be able to enjoy complimentary admission to one of the Disney water parks on your check-in day in August if you're staying at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection.  Both Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will be open this summer, so you can pick your favorite to visit!

Thierry, I hope this information has been helpful and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World later this summer!  Please stop by to see us again here at planDisney if you have any other questions - we're all ears!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
