Hiya Jordan! Welcome to planDisney! We’re so happy you’re here.
Isn't planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation so much fun? I always have such a blast thinking about all the incredible restaurants I'll eat at and the thrilling attractions I'll get to enjoy on my next visit. There are so many resources to explore to get you pumped up for your visit, including Disney Parks Blog, where you'll find the latest updates on what's new and exciting at Walt Disney World. I definitely recommend checking it out! In the meantime, I'm so happy to be able to answer your question today!
So, let’s get to it, shall we?! Based on your question, it sounds as though you plan to visit the theme parks on three individual days, and your husband will just be joining you on your third and final day. In this case, you had the right idea, Jordan! So, I would purchase a 3-day theme park ticket for yourself and just a 1-day theme park ticket for your husband. Now, since you are purchasing two different ticket lengths, you will need to add each one to your cart separately by following the steps below:
- Head to the Walt Disney World Website
- Hover over “Parks & Tickets” and select “Theme Park Tickets” from the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down until you see “Standard Theme Park Ticket” and click “Continue.
- From there, choose “3” under “Select Number The of Days.”
- Select the ticket type you would like.
- Next, use the calendar to select the first day you plan to use your ticket and scroll down to choose the number of tickets needed. Now, you will want only to select one ticket at this time (since only you will need a 3-day park ticket.)
- Click “Continue,” and you’ll be given the option to add the Memory Maker to your ticket.
- Once you have made your selection, click on the green “Select” button, and your ticket will be added to your cart.
Now, go back and start at step one, but this time select “1” under “Select Number The of Days.”
Finally, once you have both tickets in your cart, simply click on “Check Out,” follow the prompts, and you are all set! Not too bad, right?!
Once you purchase your theme park tickets, you must secure your Park Pass Reservations. As a reminder, you'll need to make reservations for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you've purchased the Park Hopper Option, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. Some parks get booked up quickly, so I recommend making reservations early.
I do hope this has been helpful to you! Please feel free to stop by again if you have any other vacation planning questions. If I don't speak with you again, I'll be wishing you an absolutely wonderful vacation!
Until next time,
Diana
