I'm planning a two night stay for my upcoming 20th anniversary and was wondering if we are able to park at the Disneyland hotel early to enjoy the parks before check-in and if we'll be able to stay parked until the parks close upon check out.

Hi Joshua! Welcome to planDisney and Happy Anniversary!! I can't think of anything more magical than commemorating 20 yEARs together at the Happiest Place on Earth! You'll surely be adding some forever memories as you explore the parks and take in all the sights and sounds.

You'll be happy to hear that as a resort guest, the amenities of the Disneyland Hotel are open to you all of the days of your stay, including your arrival and departure day. This includes parking so you should have no issue pulling in early and heading out late. I stayed here for a birthday celebration myself and arrived very early to make it to rope drop. I had no problems parking, dropping my bags with bell services and heading straight to Disneyland Park. If you arrive after park opening, you will love how close the hotel is to the Disneyland Monorail station in Downtown Disney District. What could be better than hopping the Monorail and heading straight for Tomorrowland station?

The Disneyland Hotel is one of my absolute favorite places to stay on property and the perfect place to start and end your days of celebration. It's modern in design, but there is oh-so-much history throughout from the moment you step through those sliding doors. Each tower is themed to one of the original lands - Fantasyland, Adventureland and Frontierland - and there are even some magical surprises included in each room. My family loves the teacup chairs in the lobby - they are truly fun for the young and young at heart!

If you are taking a mid-day pool break, grab a bite to eat at Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill for some Polynesian-inspired quick-service meals. You might want to cheers to 20 years with a Pago Pago or Krakatoa Punch from Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar or, if you are here for the nostalgia, a character meal at Goofy's Kitchen could add an element of fun to the anniversary festivities! I know that we are only a few short weeks out from your arrival, so if you find that dining reservations are booked, I always recommend continuing to check back as Guests are constantly modifying their plans and cancellations can and do pop up!

Joshua, I just know you are in for a magical few days of celebration. Be sure to grab a complimentary Celebration Button at City Hall as you head into the parks, and Cast Members will be sending you anniversary wishes throughout the day! Please come back to see us if any more questions pop up - we are always here for you at planDisney.

    Keep wishing on those stars!
