Hi, I'm planning a trip with my 2 year old son. I'm not sure where to start. I've seen that rides like the magic carpets are 3+ does that mean he won't be able to ride them? Any recommendations?

    Hi Sara,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad that you brought this question to us. My family loves the rides at Magic Kingdom.

Whether or not your son will be able to ride a particular ride depends on the height requirements for that ride. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, for example, indicates that the ride is for any ages, any height. When you review the information for each ride, you will see a category called "Age Interest." This category just gives guests an idea of the ages of children that might really enjoy a particular ride.

There are a number of rides at Magic Kingdom that your son might like. Peter Pan's Flight is another ride that does not have height requirements. Just review the Magic Kingdom Attractions List to determine which rides might be appropriate for your son.

I also suggest that you review the Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones Guide. It will help you make the most out of your visit with your son!

Do not forget the Character and Entertainment experiences at Magic Kingdom. If your son likes to dance, he might be thrilled to join the #IncrediblesSuperDanceParty. My girls love singing and dancing. Party on!

I trust that you will have a magical experience!
