I'm planning a trip with my 21/2 year old and 10month old boys for Oct. 2012, what are the must sees? We will be there for 8 days. How strict are the age guidelines? I would love to take my son to the Pirate League, Thanks for your help!

Hi Jillian!  I am afraid that the Pirate League is pretty strict to the age limit.  They have found that children under the age of three sometimes gets frightened as well as can't sit still long enough for the experience it is meant to be. I took my grandson when he was just over three years and he was a bit intimidated at that age. I had to wait two more years before I got him to go back and that was because he had a cousin to share it with. So my suggestion is not to rush some of these things.

You can read a short description of the attractions at the Disney website, www.disneyworld.com, and make a list of those that sound like they would be appropriate.  You can always ask a cast member at the entrance if there will be loud noises or darkness which are two of the most frightening elements to any ride.  Take the road of caution so you don't scare them at that age where they won't want to do anything later on...trust me I have learned that lesson the hard way!
