I'm planning a trip with my 2 & 5 year old boys. Since the 2 year old usually crashes out fairly early, I'd like to reserve a room with a balcony with views of the nightly fireworks. Is the Bay Lake Tower a good option? What other options are there?

    Hi Byron!

Bay Lake Tower is an excellent option for viewing Wishes Nighttime Spectacular Fireworks from the Magic Kingdom.  They even "pipe in" the music from the Park so you can hear it from your own room!   You will need to request a view of the Magic Kingdom Park when you make your reservation, and they will make a note of this, but will not guarantee it.  You should also request this again upon check-in.

The fireworks can also be viewed from some of the rooms at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, as well as the Polynesian Resort.  The same thing applies regarding your requests for these rooms.  They cannot be guaranteed, but the Cast Members will do everything they can to accommodate your wishes if at all possible.

Just in case you don't happen to obtain a room with the specific view you desire of the fireworks, maybe it will work out for you guys they way it often has for us with little ones.  They would usually go ahead and crash out in the stroller, and we'd find a nice place to park and view them from the Park while the little one slept.  There are also some great viewing spots at each of these Resorts in the public areas, such as on the beach at the Polynesian Resort, the viewing deck from Bay Lake Towers, the swimming pool at The Grand Floridian, etc...

Best of "Wishes" to you all!
