Hi! I'm planning a trip to WDW for Sept 2011. I see that if we book a Moderate Resort by 12/20 we get the Dining Plan free. My question is - in the spring if they come out with a % off of rooms am i eligible for that % off as well? Thank you!

Hi, Tracy!  For the most part, the discounts are an either/or situation.  You can typically only use one discount per reservation.

What many families do is weigh which option is better for them.  For some families, there is nothing that can beat the free dining plan!  Food can be a big portion of vacation budgets, so to not have to worry about paying for everyone to eat enables many families to take a longer vacation, upgrade to a moderate or deluxe resort, or maybe even take a second vacation!

Other families, who may not think the dining plan is for them, may get the better value in a room discount.  Some of the discounts can be up to 40% off the rack rate of a room, and for these families, it provides some of the same vacation possibilities - a bigger room, a longer vacation, or even the ability to enjoy a few special meals.

You may want to weigh out the costs and savings for your own family.  This will help you decide which is the right way to go!

    Have an awesome vacation!
