Hi! I'm planning a trip to WDW first week of February. On our arrival day we will be spending the late afternoon at MK and we will use our Park Hopper option to go dine at Les Chefs de France. I would like to know how much time I need to plan to go the

    Bonjour Nadine,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

Although you’ll be able to take the monorail in order to go from Magic Kingdom Park to Epcot, I would still set aside a solid hour to be able to travel between those two Theme Parks, especially seeing as Chefs de France is located on the far side of World Showcase Lagoon. If you don’t want to be stuck walking at a very fast pace, I would leave Magic Kingdom Park at least 90 minutes before your dinner reservation.

As an aside, I usually recommend against planning a particularly busy day of park hopping on the day that you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. My family is often pretty tired after our flight to Florida and I find that visiting one Theme Park on the day we arrive is plenty of excitement for our first day. If you can, I would recommend visiting Epcot on your first day, enjoying your delicious meal and save Magic Kingdom Park for another better rested day.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
