I'm planning a trip to WDW in either October or January. Which is better for weather and crowd control? Can you also recommend a resort that sleeps 5 comfortably (3 adults + 2 young boys, 4/6) that is fun + easy to get to? The research is overwhelming! Thx

Visiting Walt Disney World in either October or January are both great months. October can be a bit more crowded, but it also has Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that is so much fun. It is an additional ticket, and many guests opt to wear costumes to go trick or treating (not required). Similarly, there is also the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival which gives guests a chance to sample (for a nominal fee)  a variety of foods and wine from many different countries and regions. You'll also have a chance to enjoy the fall decorations in the Magic Kingdom.

January is often one of the best times to visit to enjoy lighter crowds. However, the first part of January may still have holiday crowds. Also, the Walt Disney World Marathon is the second weekend in January. If you can avoid those times to visit, you'll likely find shorter waits and not as many people. You can also often find Special Offers on resorts during this month.

Walt Disney World also offers a variety of rooms that can accommodate up to 5 guests. I'd look over the link to see which resorts best fit your budget and preferences.  Then, please let us know any additional questions you have about them.  Since you have 3 adults, you may find you'd like two bathrooms. The family suites at the Value Resorts have them, the deluxe studios at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort have them, and the Deluxe Villa Resorts also have them in some of the one bedroom villas and all of the two bedroom villas. Please let us know if we can help again; we are here to make the planning less overwhelming!
