Hi, I'm planning a trip to WDW for Christmas week. I'm so worried it will be impossible for me to reserve the Character dinners i want since it is basically the busiest time of the year. Do you have any suggestions to ensure i can book all diners.

    Hi Emily,

Thanks for writing.  The holidays are my favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World.  The parks and resorts are decorated in a sea of holiday whimsy and fantasy that are sure to delight and wow your family!  You are smart to plan ahead, as the parks and resorts are, indeed, about as buys as they get during the week between Christmas and New Year's.  That being said, with some advanced planning, you should be able to reserve some great meals.  You can book dining reservations up to 180 days in advance of your arrival at Walt Disney World, and I strongly recommend doing exactly that.  Call and/or go online at the 180 day mark, and start making your reservations.  I've visited the parks over the holidays many times, and by booking right at 180 days, we were able to secure most, if not all, of our top restaurant picks.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

    Have a magical holiday vacation!
