I'm planning a trip to WDW in August of 2016 for my daughters 5th bday. We are staying from 8/8-8/14. What are some must do's for her? I'm looking to do a park a day and maybe the water parks.

    Hi again, Braelyn!

You must be so excited planning such a magical vacation. I am sure your daughter's big day will be one she doesn't soon forget. There isn't a better place to celebrate turning the big 5-years-old than the Walt Disney World Resort!

I think you have a great plan in place with visiting a park a day and a water park. It should leave you plenty of time for other activities and pool time (my kids love pool time almost as much as park time.) Magic Kingdom Park is probably our favorite for exploring as a family. Whether we are helping Buzz Lightyear defeat Zurg, going under the sea with the Little Mermaid, or soaring high above on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, there are adventures around every corner. Speaking of adventure, my children love becoming a swashbuckling pirate or a mesmerizing mermaid at The Pirates League. Their little transformations are incredible. We also love Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. My littles adore the fun just for them at Ketchakiddee Creek and riding the bigger rides as a family such as, Gangplank Falls. I also recommend a Character Dining Experience.  They are such a great way to get some amazing photos with your favorite Disney friends.

Have a wonderful time planning your celebration vacation, Braelyn. If you come across any other questions or concerns, please let me know.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
