    Hi! I'm planning a trip up to Walt Disney World and we're planning on staying at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside on January 18 to January 27, 2019. We love to swim so is their pools heated and opened all year round?

    Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for assistance in planning your vacation. You've made a wonderful choice, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is one of my favorite Moderate Resorts. Great news! Disney Resort pools are open year-round and are heated to a comfortable 82 degrees. That being said, the air temperature in January can vary greatly, so it's tough to say if it will be swimming weather or not. Being from New England, my family tends to swim whenever we head to Walt Disney World, regardless of how warm it is outside.
