Hello, Sarah! You've come to the right place with planDisney. My fellow panelists and I would love to help you plan your upcoming Disney Cruise.
I always get excited about the
dining options onboard, and you'll find that the Crew Members of Disney Cruise Line will be accommodating to your food allergies. Once you have booked your sailing, you can
call Disney Cruise Line and ask them to make a note of your specific allergies. There is a Special Services request form for many dietary restrictions that can be filled out on the Disney Cruise Line website, however, as your allergies are very specific and not listed on the form I suggest you call. Guests with food allergies are encouraged to dine in the table-service restaurants onboard so that their needs can be best met. Please mention your allergies to your server and they will guide you through the menu and make suggestions.
Something I love about a Disney Cruise is that it isn't necessary to plan far in advance! If you have the opportunity to sail and there is still availability onboard the ship, you may book your cruise as close as two days before the embarkation date online. You mentioned wanting to book four months before your sail date and that will be just fine, so long as there are available staterooms to book.
Once you have booked your cruise, take note of the
booking window for activities like adult-exclusive dining reservations, select spa treatments, Port Adventures, and more. As a
first-time guest, your booking window will open 75 days prior to your sail date.
Sarah, please cruise back to us if you have additional questions. My pals and I would love to help point your compass toward adventure with Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie!
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
