Hi!! I'm planning a trip soon to Disneyland, and want to see if it's allowed to wear the Jedi robes, if they are the ones purchased in the park. There will be kids and adults in the party.

    Hi Sheena!

Welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to hear you have a visit to Disneyland on your mind - it's usually what I have on my mind too!

I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. I can understand your desire to immerse yourself in the magic so let's chat about Jedi robes! According to the Disneyland Resort Park Rules and Regulations, specifically the attire policies, costumes may not be worn in the parks by Guests ages 14 or older and clothing that drags on the ground is prohibited, as well. However, Cast Members always have the final call. My recommendation is to have a backup option if, for whatever reason, your Jedi robes will not be allowed. Hope that helps!

For Star Wars fans, like you and my son, there is an incredible projection show that tells the remarkable story of the Skywalkers which wowed us both. If you can experience the brand-new Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga in Galaxy's Edge - I highly recommend it! My son and I were told by a friendly Cast Member that the best viewing spot was up against the back wall facing the Millennium Falcon, nearest the stairs. She said the goal would be to see across all the spires. She was right. The view was perfect! Check the Disneyland app for showtimes on the day of your visit.

Sheena, I hope this information has been helpful, even though it may not be the news you were hoping for. As you continue to prepare for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, please don't hesitate to come back and ask us another question. We love to share our tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland!

Above all, from the bottom of my heart, I wish you the most magical visit, Sheena! May the Force be with you.

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
