Hi Trish!
A first birthday celebration at the Happiest Place on Earth has all the elements of a Magical trip!
Don't forget to get your little one Mickey Ears at the
Mad Hatter Shop on Main Street U.S.A. Those will make for amazing photos and memories! You can also order a
Celebration cake and have it delivered at your favorite Table Service Restaurant.
Trish, the beginning of November is usually a transition period for the
Disneyland Resort.
After the Halloween Time Festivities end on October 31, the resort immediately begins to break down its Fall decorations and make room for
Holidays at the Happiest Place on Earth.
As you can imagine, it's not easy task replacing a ginormous Mickey Jack-O-Lantern with a 60-foot tall Christmas Tree in Town Square along Main Street U.S.A! And although Cast members work diligently to complete the task as soon as possible, the Christmas decorations are generally completed by mid-November and last through New Years.
When you arrive in early November, you may not get to see the complete Holiday transformation, however, you will likely enjoy a Park experience without the large crowds, without long attraction wait times and without having to worry about securing a comfortable parade seat hours ahead!
I hope this helps.
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
